The 30th annual San Antonio High School All-Star Football Game
will feature the finest senior football players in the San
Antonio area
from last fall's high school season playing in the final game
of their high school year careers. The 2008 game will
be conducted on Saturday, May 17th at 7:30 PM at the Gustafson Stadium (Culebra & 410.) Over fifty area high schools will
be

Player Recognition Banquet |
| The annual banquet for players and their families will be held on Thursday, May 15th at 7:30 pm at the St. Paul’s Community Center (intersection of St Cloud and Donaldson) located on the near northwest side of San Antonio. The evening will include a barbecue dinner, the introduction of players, presentation of game jerseys and a guest master of ceremonies. Attendees will be able to purchase tickets, tee shirts and programs at the dinner but the special package prices that were offered at the Parent Meeting will not be available at the banquet. Price is $15 per person. |

| The game will be broadcast live on KLUP (930 AM) and carried on the
Internet by TSRNSports. |
Afterwards San Antonio Time Warner
will have the game on digital On Demand channel 988. |
The game is conducted jointly by the Kids Sports Network and
the Olmos Kiwanis Club. Proceeds from the game benefit the nonprofit
programs of the Kids Sports Network and youth charities of the
Olmos Kiwanis Club. As many as 15 participants annually receive
scholarship offers from college and university recruiters as a
result of playing in the game. Over the past 29 years an estimated
$5.5 million in scholarship offers have been made to players and
over $600,000 has been raised for various San Antonio youth charities.
