 West tops East 9 - 0 at the HEB High School All-Star Football Game on Saturday, May 23,
2009 at the NEISD Comalander Stadium. Over 80 players from forty three area high schools
were represented in the 2009 game. The game
featured the finest senior football players in the San
Antonio area. College scouts attended the game and talked to many of the players after the game.

The game is conducted jointly by the Kids Sports Network and
the Olmos Kiwanis Club. Proceeds from the game benefit the nonprofit
programs of the Kids Sports Network and youth charities of the
Olmos Kiwanis Club. As many as 15 participants annually receive
scholarship offers from college and university recruiters as a
result of playing in the game. Over the past 30 years an estimated
$5.6 million in scholarship offers have been made to players and
over $650,000 has been raised for various San Antonio youth charities.
