 Brandon Parrott, Chief Executive Officer Brandon Parrott was named Chief Executive Officer of the Kids Sports Network on July 19, 2011. He replaced Frank Martin, President and Founder, who returned from retirement to manage KSN in January 2011. Frank will remain involved with KSN as advisor to the board and Brandon. Brandon was formerly the Executive Director of Slam Dunk for Life and has been actively involved in the local sports community for several years. He is a graduate of Smithson Valley High School and played football at the University of Kansas. Brandon’s professional experience includes time with the San Antonio Spurs and San Antonio Sports where he directed event marketing for NBA, NCAA, Big 12, and USA Basketball events.
Brandon and his wife, Shelly, have two daughters, Baylee and Gracie. The family attends Community Bible Church and the girls go to San Antonio Christian Schools where Brandon serves as offensive coordinator for the football team and head coach for the tennis program. Brandon considers coaching at SACS and serving as CEO of KSN as enormously rewarding opportunities to positively influence kids the way his coaches and athletic experiences did for him. |

 Frank Martin Advisor/Founder, started training
volunteer coaches and assisting youth leagues in Texas
in
1983. Prior to that he served in the USAF where, in his last
assignment, he was the officer in charge of all Air Force
youth and child development programs. In 1991 he created
the
Kids Sports Network and one of Frank's creations, the Spurs
Youth Basketball League, has 20,000 participants
throughout South Texas and received a
coveted "Point of Light" from President Bush in 1992. Considered
by many as the most knowledgeable person on youth sports
in
the state, Frank was named a "1998 San Antonio Hometown Hero" for
his years of service to the youth of his community. In 2006
Frank was named the Express-News
Sportsman of the Year and
honored at the annual San Antonio Sports Foundation's Hall
of Fame banquet. Frank retired as President and Founder of KSN December 31, 2008 and returned January 19, 2011 as an Interim CEO. Frank is now retired but continues to advise KSN staff and board. |
